When I was a little girl, I remember a special set of miniature children’s books that had the most vivid colors. I recall being especially attracted to the blues and the reds, even if it was some tiny part of the illustration, like the red doorknob on the window crank in the car, or a small ball hiding from a puppy underneath a rug. Something about the drawings seemed so magical to me; this piece of art reminds me of those pages.
