I broke my “o” from using it too much, I guess. The letter wore off the “e” months ago, and the “n” is almost gone, too. But the “o” just snapped right off today. The tiny tabs that held it in place are gone, and it’s hopeless.

Dell says they are going to replace the entire keyboard. The plastic piece probably costs less than a penny. Whatever.

They made an improvement to their help desk by hiring people who speak better English, but a British accent mixed with an Indian accent might be even worse than the original problem. I have no prejudices against people with accents (in fact, I rather like them) but I don’t like it when I’m trying to speak about technical things or problems to a person I can’t understand.

I can’t work very well without my “o.”

Maybe it’s time to make the switch to a Mac, anyway.
