My “o” is fixed; I replaced the keyboard myself.
I spent a glorious day in Manhattan yesterday.
I saw Mr. Nice Guy.
I finished up my third freelance writing job and I’m interviewing for a fourth.
I got the job – the full-time position in Princeton.
I just have to say thank you to a few people:
To the Universe, for its infinite wisdom and wonder and for continuing to provide for me in unimaginable ways.
To my friend, Keith, who had his fingers and toes crossed and who sent me positive thoughts.
To my friend, Delmer, who shared with me his own experience and helped me “hang in there.”
To a new friend, Barbara, my little online angel, who came out of nowhere to remind me that my thoughts are powerful, and that I should only have positive ones until I found out whether or not they chose me.
To my mother for her unfailing faith in her god and for her consistent prayer list.
To my interviewers, who did not deem me less intelligent or less capable because I decided to spend the last 10 years at home raising my children.
And to every other friend and acquaintance who sent me good wishes and rooted for me.
Thank you. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I’m feeling grateful down to my toes.
