Around the time of my divorce in 2005, I created my original Unwritten blog. For 10 years I wrote and posted everything from truths to fantasies – including a lot of angry resentment about the past – in an attempt to rediscover my authentic self and live honestly in Love, not Fear.
I wrote and wrote. I learned and I grew.
As I began to experience life in new ways, and at the suggestion of a trusted friend, I decided it was time to turn the page to a fresh chapter. With a bit of sadness and a lot of anticipation, I decided to wrap up my original writings and pack them away.
I replaced the black background with something light and clean, representing the idea that my story has moved from the dark unknown into a brighter, simpler place. I am hopefully optimistic and I look forward to seeing what unfolds on these pages in the next decade.
